Embarrassing Moments...1

I remember sitting on the school bus going to a solo/band thing in the 7th or8th grade. I was sitting in front of this guy I had a crush on. He barely talked to me but this day we were kind of hitting it off. The girls had to wear dark navy or jean skirts and white blouses. Well this day the only thing that I had was a wrap around jean skirt from one of my cousins hand me downs. When it came time to get off of the bus, I stood up and moved out of my seat....without my skirt. I went a few seats up before my friend handed me my skirt and wrapped her jacket around my SLIP. Thank GOD i wore one.

2 out of 3 birds choose Skippy

This guy is an African Grey Timneh feather plucker. I was given this bird because he didn't care for his own. (owned by a guy for 10yrs, he got sick and died then the wife won him and the bird didn't like her or vise versa.) He has totally plucked everything he can reach. He has grown back his feathers 1 time in 2 yrs. I don't care I love him bald or furry. Since h looks like a plucked chicken, he name is no longer "Dusty" it is now Chicken.
This guy is Orson. He is an African Grey Congo. He was hand fed, loved me but now is terrified of me and most things. The vet thinks he is in his hormonal phase. Its going on about 16 months of him being extremely fearful to the point he flutters to the bottom of his cage flapping like a freak, breaking feathers and bruising himself. Not a feather plucker but I can see him leaning toward that. Just to clean his cage is traumatizing for BOTH of us. Maybe on day every 2 months will he have a flicker of love toward me. I can scratch him then he realizes it is me and starts growling. What a waste of a great talker and once loving bird. Then there is the Orange wing Amazon named Jack....I adopted him 3 yrs ago and fell in love with him. He has found his Amazon voice and isn't afraid to use it. God he is LOUD!

Then the guardian kitten Henry Ferguson being his usual pain in the butt....spoiled rotten little dumpling that he is. He has to be the center of attention...and he is.

Renee' and Sam and Rodolfo

Here is my bestest bud! We have been friends for over 20yrs now! YIKES thats a fricken long time. We've had our ups and downs but we got through them and Renee' is definately a keeper. One of the most creative, talented, smart and loving woman I have ever met. She has 3 adopted kids at home and a hubby named Cliff. Here is a pic of Renee' at my place October or November 07 I think. She's beautiful! Here is a pic of her son Sam and her ferret named Rodolfo. Good Job Sam for getting your license. God help us on the road.....

By the Lake

I love this pic. Last summer my sister and my friend Lauren went down to visit my mom. We went to the lighthouse. This place is sooo beautiful and peaceful. I wished we could have bummed around there longer. Had a good visit and delivered a feathered friend to my mom. They are now best buds and he keeps her company. She calls him Babay. Not sure how that gets spelled but thats my guess.

Fashion Diva of the Week

This line was made famous by none other than Boo!
Here she is just getting ready to walk down the "catwalk". Here are some pics of the queen in action AND after a hard night on the town. Can hardly tell which is which. She has that million dollar glow even being hung over or just after binging and purging her eukanuba. You know a girls gotta keep her figure so those Toms stay interested!
